The Best Connection is looking to recruit experienced MIG Welders!
Due to a huge increase in work, our a client, a leading manufacturer of bespoke shipping containers, is looking to recruit experienced MIG Welders to work at their manufacturing facility in Warrington.
The ideal candidates will be required to undertake the following tasks:
- Ability to follow engineering drawings
- Fabrication of parts ready for fit out
- Marking, prep and cutting pre-fabricated parts for welding
- MIG weld to a high standard.
- Motivated & ability to work within a team
- Maintain a good level of house keeping at all times
- Ability to follow instruction and work in a safe manor
- Any other associated task / duties
Desirable experience / skills:
- Previous experience within the industry is preferred, but not essential.
- Proficient in the use of welding equipment, abrasive / cutting wheels and associated power tools
- Welding experience in all positions & material thickness
The working hours are 0730 - 1630 Monday to Thursday & 0730 - 1330 on a Friday, with the opportunity to work regular overtime which is paid at time & a half.
An immediate start is available after successful interview & weld test.
