Maintenance Operative

The Best Connection is looking to recruit a handyman/site support person, to join one of our prestigious clients located in the Foxhills industrial estate.
This will be a Monday-Friday position working 08:30AM - 17:00PM and working some weekends will also be required, however, my client is flexible on this.
This will be a straight to permeant position, meaning you will be taken on directly by our client from day 1.
The job duties will include but are not limited to:
- Everyday mass unit needs greasing 10 pumps one per day.
- Check defoam pump is working
- Cleaning and changing Effluent screens
- Monitor tank levels
- Clean the concrete pad
- Lamella will need 2 x IBCS dropping and putting into the waste trailer
- Check all pumps located around site, to make sure there are no blockages
- Daily checks on air compressors, chiller compressors and boilers
- Any cleaning duties
- Assist engineering department when required
- Complete contractor inductions and be the point of contact
- Work from job cards
- Operate an FLT
