The Best Connection is working with our client based in Chester le Street. They are a global leader within the logistics sector carrying out store deliveries of a range of products. Due to increased workload they now require a LGV C (HGV Class 2) Driver.
The role is being offered on an ongoing temporary basis with an opportunity to become permanent after successful probationary period.
Duties include:
- Local deliveries of caged/palletised products delivered to stores
- Trunking between depots
- Preloaded vehicles & pre-planned routes
Client requirements:
- CPC Driver Qualification Card
- Digi-Card Required
- Licence - Category C
- Requirement to Understand Tachos
- Our client may consider newly qualified drivers
- Our client carries out drug and alcohol testing
Hours of work:
- Start times vary between: 04.00am – 07.00am daily
- Working on a rota basis 5 out of 7
Pay rates (PAYE)::
- Monday - Sunday - £15.15 per hour first 48 hours
- Monday – Sunday - £30.30 per hour after 48 hours
- Bank Holiday - £30.03 per hour
