Forklift Truck Operative

We are recruiting for Site Operatives with a valid Forklift Counterbalance Licence to work at a recycling centre based in Bodmin

** An in date Forklift Counterbalance Licence is essential for this role. **

You will be working with an experienced team, the role consists of loading / unloading vehicles and material movement using FLT’s, general site maintenance activities and site improvement projects.

Pay rate:

• £11.66 p/hour

Shifts:

• Monday - Friday
• 07:00am- 17:00pm

Duties include:

• To direct and control vehicles to designated disposal areas and assist them with off-loading as required.
• Operate forklift trucks to move material and load / unload vehicles.
• To carry out inspections on incoming products in line with the site waste acceptance criteria and report any non-compliant loads.
• To safely and efficiently operate fixed machinery, such as bailing machines and sorting lines.
