FLT Counterbalance

The Best Connection is currently seeking Forklift Counterbalance Driver for one of our well established clients in Hortonwood area with £13.94ph

The working hours will be working:

• Continental 4 on / 4 off shift pattern - permanent nights
• 18:00 - 06:00 - 12 hour shifts
• A valid in date counterbalance licence is essential.
• Immediate starts available!
• Please only apply if you can work these shifts and the hours

Responsibilities of the Forklift Driver

• Will include the unloading and distributing of a variety of items from lorries into the warehouse, the items will vary in size so the job can be labour intensive.
• Drive 60% on a truck during a shift
• Line Feeding
• Pick and pack products load/unload goods and the wrapping of the production lines
• General housekeeping and cleaning duties as / if required.
• Relevant training may be given if required to work in other areas of the warehouse.
• Due to location worker must have own transport.

Requirements of the Forklift Driver

• A valid in date counterbalance licence
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience
• Good numeracy skills.
• Good accuracy and organisational skills.
• Ability to work to target.
• Good timekeeping
• Provide valid reference
• PC literate.
• Heavy lifting.
• Attention to detail
