FLT Counterbalance

The Best Connection are looking for a day shift material handler / forklift driver for their client in the Hortonwood area with starting pay of £12.79ph

We are preferably looking for candidates with previous experience in a fast-paced environment and manufacturing industry.

This role will involve forklift work as well as other warehouse duties such as picking, packing, reworking, replenishment, stock checks.

A valid in-date FLT Counterbalance or FLT Flexi Bendi licence is required for this role.

Pay rates are:

• £12.79ph

Shifts :

• Permanent days 06:00 - 18:00

Rota:

• Week 1 - Monday,Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
• Week 2 - Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday

Candidates must:

• Have great attention to detail
• Have in date Flt Counterbalance and/or FLT Flexi Bendi licence
• Packing product
• Regular FLT checks
• Quality Inspecting products
• Working towards targets
• Be hardworking
• Punctual
• Have a positive attitude and be keen to learn
• Have previous experience working in manufacturing environment / machine operator.
• Be able to lift weight up to 20 kg
  

Duties will include:

• Working as a part of the team
• Working by yourself
• Working towards targets
• Some heavy lifting up to 20 kg
• Operating and feeding machines
• moving stock using FLT
• Maintaining the machines
• Packing ready products
• General cleaning around own work area
