CNC Programmer

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time
We are currently looking for fully skilled CNC Programme/ Setter/ Operator on full time basis in Barrow in Furness.
This is a permanent opportunity with full time onsite hours, Monday to Wednesday 7:30am - 6pm, Thursday 7:30am - 4pm
The role will involve reading engineering drawings per customers specification, using variety of materials such as low carbon steels, alloy nickel materials, utilising CNC Lathe machines.
Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating CNC machines
- Machine operation
- Liaising with supervisors/ production manager and colleagues
- Resolve problems with minimum supervision
- Reporting of any problems promptly
- Health and safety
- Completing job cards documentation and WIP tickets.
- Housekeeping and maintenance of own working environment including keeping area free of oil/ coolant spills.
