Brake Press Operator

Our client, specialists in engineering and fabrication based in Kingsbury Link Tamworth, urgently requires a Brake Press Operator. Possible permanent opportunity following a successful trial period. This role involves working as part of our production team to deliver high quality components, mainly for the rail industries, with a right first time philosophy. The candidate must have previous experience working with Amada brake presses. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate that they can produce components from drawing / planning route cards to the highest quality, and within the routed time. Showing a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team, thrive on problem solving and have a natural desire to contribute to continuous improvement within the team. Must be able to interpret technical drawings and use hand held inspection equipment such as height gauges and vernier calipers.

• 7AM-4PM Monday to Thursday 7AM-12PM Friday
• £14.00 per hour
